Supported by Goldie Look' Chain

GLC seemed to get a good reception from the crowd, and I must admit with all the bands I've seen before I've never seen anything like 'em. I'm sure some were there to see them more than Feeder, but what a strange support band to have, to totally different music backgrounds in my opinion, suppose it's the Welsh connection, as I could not see any other reason why these two bands should be on tour together, maybe the promoters were having a laugh.

Feeder enter the stage to 'Join Together with the Band', and how appropriate that turned out to be.. ! thus a very strange evening started to unfold.    I really wanted to hear Shatter live so it was good they played that early considering what happened. For me I've started to get board with hearing 'Buck Rogers' and the same old normal crowd pleasers that they seem to get played at every gig. I realise the new and popular stuff must be included in the set-list but come on guy's give us some of the older stuff for the over 12 Feeder fans..!.

Just The Way I'm Feeling sounded a bit flat and then Grant just stopped singing and said his voice was knackered and asked if anyone in the crowd wanted to sing, before they went off. The crowd seemed annoyed and unsympathetic, and booing rang out throughout the crowd, this was great for those who made it on stage to sing, but to say they were bad was an understatement, more shouting than singing, no need to apply for the next series of the X-Factor guy's, but I'm sure it made you evening.
