Season 2000-2001

A shaky start to the season, but things seem to be improving with each game..Come on promotion is what we want....!

Caley Go Ballistic 2, Nearly....

A goal at each end of stoppage time provided a sensational end to an intriguing cup tie between Inverness and Kilmarnock which also featured a sending off, a disallowed goal and two strikes of the woodwork.
Caley thought they had won it when substitute Barry Robson, who had been on the pitch for only six minutes, capitalised on an error from Gus MacPherson.
But MacPherson had the last laugh when his burst down the right allowed another replacement, Garry Hay, to head an equaliser at the death.
It was to prove a bad day for Killie star Andy McLaren, who was shown the red card in the second half and had a perfectly good goal ruled out earlier in the game.
Davide Xausa was the star of the first half, with his poise on the ball and passing range superior to anything the Premier League side put on show.
