Foundation
Inverness Caledonian Thistle was formed in 1994 when Caledonian FC amalgamated with Inverness Thistle FC. The first official match was a friendly played at Telford Street Park against St Mirren. In the 1996-97 season the club was renamed to incorporate the town name and is now known as Inverness Caledonian Thistle or Inverness CT.

Record victory: 8-1 v Annan Ath, Scottish Cup 3rd round, 24 January 1998
