A good venue to go if you get the chance, fairly small, compact, hot and you can get close to the stage. My Vitrriol came on and the crowd went mad, considering at the time I didn't know who the support was it looked like Ash for a while. The crowd it's self was young and I mean young (Sweet Sixteen) at one point I was getting bounced around by some kid who could have been no more than twelve, who said all the kids these days are into S Cluck 7 and all that manufactured crap. The crowd loved My Vitriol and seemed to now all there songs, I must admit I had only heard of one before and the rest sounded rather the same, but that's just my opinion.
Feeder rocked onto the stage and not for the first time in the evening the crowd throbbed with anticipation, as the band roared out their first track, Insomnia. It was hot, very hot and Grant mention it was probably the hottest gig on the tour. Security was great, giving out water to people at the very front, the only thing they missed way the one guy who got onto the stage and kissed Grant, was his face a picture..!.The first new song Feeder played was 'We Can't Rewind' and Grant joked about Napster as a lot of bands, do these days, who had heard this song before in the crowd..? If I dare say one bad thing about this gig, it was that I got the feeling the crowd didn't really know Feeders early material, shame on you.. Feeder make great music and album's, and their live performances never let them down, yet again another great gig boy's.
